August 15, 2009
The Inter-Mountain

By His Hand Ministries will present a gospel music festival to benefit the ministries of Tyrand Cooperative Ministries. The outside event will take place at the Tyrand Cooperative facility off of U.S. 219 at Mill Creek from noon until 7 p.m. Aug. 29.

Tyrand Cooperative offers emergency assistance to those in need of food, clothing, medicine, rental assistance and more. It also hosts visiting mission teams throughout the summer who do home repairs and maintenance for the disabled and less fortunate.

Appearing will be performers from various areas of the state: Karen James from Beckley; Amy Johnson from Beckley; Don Riffle from Worthington; Donna Joyce and Friends from Grafton; Soldiers of The Cross from Buckhannon; Carrying Our Cross from Philippi; and Cheryl Ellison and Garlin Groves, The Currence Generation, Tyrand Community Chorus and God's Little Band of Joy Bell Ringers, all from Randolph County. Hosting the event will be J.R. Pittsenbarger of WCWV Spirit of The Mountain Radio in Summersville.
