Wilson and Betty Wood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today.
They were married in Mill Creek at the home of the late Rev. Arnold Bickle.
Mr. Wood is the son of the late Bruce Wood and Ocia Vanpelt Wood Kesling. He is retired and employed at Snowshoe Resort.
Mrs. Wood is the daughter of the late Arnold and Celia Simmons Hamrick. She is a homemaker.
The Woods have two children, Rosemary Swecker and husband, Randall, and Sonny Wood and Lora. They have four grandchildren, Chanc Swecker, Lucas, Ceira and Nicholas Wood and one great-grandchild Chase Wood.
