An open house in honor of Earsel and Mardell Snyder Stemple's 65th wedding anniversary will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church at 88 S. Kanawha St. in Buckhannon.
They were married by the late Rev. Ross Linger on a Wednesday afternoon at the First United Methodist Church Parsonage.
They have three daughters, Sandra Sue Bennett, Rebecca Stemple-Jackson and husband, Douglas Jackson, and Melodie Stemple and husband, Scott Tennant. They also have two grandchildren, Sarah Bennett-Harper and husband, John, and Steve Bennett and wife, Amanda; and two great-grandchildren, Zoe Marie Harper and Kayleigh Sue Bennett.
