Wayne and Delores Varner of Beverly celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Beverly Volunteer Fire Department among family and friends.
The couple were married June 20, 1959, at the Beverly Methodist Church by the Rev. Earl.
They are the parents of Jeannie Channell and husband, Fred, and Marty Varner and wife, Tina, all of Beverly. They are the grandparents of Jessica Butcher and husband, Matthew, of Martinsburg. They have two stepgrandchildren, Shae and Chelsea Scott.
