James and Patsy Sacks of Elkins celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary Aug. 19. They were married on Aug. 19, 1961, at the Frank Nazarene Church.
Mr. Sacks is the son of the late Ethel Sacks. He works for the West Virginia Division of Highways.
Mrs. Sacks is the daughter of Forrest Burner, a patient in the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center. She is retired from the Randolph County Board of Education.
