The 11th annual Coberly reunion was hosted on Aug. 1 at the Arlie Arbogast pavilion at Bowden.
A moment of silence was conducted in memory of the family's loved ones, Gary L. Coberly, son of the late Roy H. and Ruby McDaniels Coberly, husband of Sandra Ball Coberly, father of Gary Jr., Christopher and David Coberly, stepfather of Lori Combs Cale, and brother of Harley R. Coberly, Ira Junior Coberly, Herman Watson, Gary Pritt, Mildred Coberly, Hart Hottle Jackson, P. Coberly and James W. Coberly.
Grace was said by Gary Coberly Jr. A covered-dish meal was served.
There were several gifts awarded: oldest woman, Ruby Coberly; oldest man, Buster Schoonover; youngest girl, twins Seneca and Charnia Howell; youngest boy, Matthew Cupp; traveled the farthest, Hannah Coberly of Carlsbad, N.M.; married longest, Rosco and Wilda Coberly Cooper; married fewest, Buster and Wanda Coberly Schoonover; and most family present, Ruby Coberly.
