The Randolph County Board of Education made several personnel moves during its meeting on Monday.

Ken Pingley was hired as an assistant girls middle school basketball coach at Tygarts Valley Middle/High School.

The following professional personnel were hired: Melissa Wilfong as a mentor fourth-grade/fifth-grade teacher at Valley Head Elementary School; Barbara Tyre as a mentor second-grade teacher at Third Ward Elementary School; Tina Cooper as a mentor elementary interventionist at George Ward Elementary School; Jerry Saseen as a mentor family consumer science teacher and a mentor art teacher at Elkins High School; Kristina Hinzman as a mentor business education teacher at the Randolph County Technical Center and a mentor math interventionist at Elkins Middle School; Marilyn Smith as a mentor half-time vision teacher and a mentor EMI/SLD/BD teacher at EMS; James Bradley Martin as a mentor foreign language Spanish teacher at TVMHS; Cindy Reel as a ninth-grade homebound teacher; and Cassie Atkins, Diana Peters, Wally Edgell and Patrick Elza as substitute teachers.

Vernon R. Carr was transfered from assistant principal at EMS to assistant principal at EHS.

Pam Judy resigned as the Title 1 reading/math teacher at Jennings Randolph Elementary School.

The following service personnel were hired; H. Alan Goff as the bus operator team leader at Harman; Michelle Booth, Tanya Bonner, April Cunningham, Lisa McDonald, Cheryl Patterson, Shannon Summerfield and Steve Wymer as substitute cooks; and Roslin Arbogast, Melissa Bodkin, Brandi Burnside, April Cunningham, Cheryl Patterson, Missy Reger, Tanya Bonner and Terri Weiford as substitute aides.

Several service personnel hires were made pending CIB checks including: Michele Blankenship, Amanda Hinchman, Lisa Lewis, Jessica Nelan, Brenda Pritt, Erica Riffle, Kristie Rizzio, Barbara Shoulders and Heather Wolford as substitute cooks; and Diana Ball, Lisa Bennett, Michele Blankenship, Amanda Hinchman, Tosca Kyle, Lisa Lewis, Alesia McPeek, Jessica Nelan, Brenda Pritt, Erica Riffle, Barbara Shoulders, Jacqueline Taylor, Moriah Warner and Sara Wilson as substitute aides.

Suzie Davis was transfered from a cook II at Coalton Elementary School to cook III/cafe manager at Coalton Elementary School. Marlene Arbogast was transfered from a cook II at Jennings Randolph Elementary to a cook II at Tygarts Valley Middle/High School.
