WVWC offering online course for nonfiction writers
The Office of Extended Learning at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon is now offering the online course, "Write and Publish Your Nonfiction Book."
The class is offered through the college's partnership with ed2go. Participants in the course will learn how to write, edit and publish nonfiction books.
"This class is perfect for people with dreams of becoming a professional author or looking to advance their careers by mastering nonfiction writing skills," said David Taylor, director of extended learning.
The latest course is part of Wesleyan's growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience.
Students have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. They also can access the classroom 24/7 from any location that has an internet connection.
New sessions of each course run each month. The courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments.
