Jalai giving presentation on controlling blood pressure

Farid Jalali is a third-year medical student at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He is completing a clinical rotation through the Northern West Virginia Rural Health Education Center.
The program's goal is to bring quality health care to the underserved populations of northern West Virginia through training, recruiting and retaining quality health care professionals. Jalali is completing his rotation with Dr. Cecil Holbert at the Myers Clinic in Philippi.
Monday at 11 a.m. Jalali will give a presentation on blood pressure control at the Barbour County Senior Center located on the corner of Main and Church streets in Philippi.
After the presentation, he will also offer free blood pressure checks.
