BCDA announces new business in Belington Industrial Park
The Barbour County Development Authority recently announced the location of LifeTite Metal Products Manufacturers to the Belington Industrial Park. The company will occupy the nearly 50,000-square-foot shell building currently owned by the BCDA.
In an effort to expand their client base, the company is expanding its existing operation in Jackson County to northcentral West Virginia. The company expects to employ five people initially and hopes to expand employment to more than 10 within the first year of operation.
BCDA Executive Director Lisa Sharp said, "We are pleased that LifeTite has chosen Barbour County as the location for their expansion project. They are making a significant investment in the existing facility and we hope that their business will thrive at this new location."
LifeTite specializes in the manufacturing of metal building components. Its product line includes metal roofs, wall panels and trim. LifeTite's manufacturing capability allows the company to produce a wide variety of custom shapes and forms. LifeTite is currently preparing the facility for its equipment, which is expected to arrive in the next few days.
The Barbour County Development Authority owns a 25,000-square-foot building also located in the Industrial Park as well as additional acreage. Both are available for business development purposes. More information on these and other sites can be obtained by calling 304-457-1225.
