Randolph BOE to hear about levy survey process
By ANTHONY GAYNOR, Staff WriterThe Randolph County Board of Education will consider several items of new business during a meeting at 6 p.m. today. The board will consider two agenda items to pay The Philips Group to conduct a telephone survey and focus groups to determine voter support for an excess levy.
Members of The Philips Group will make a presentation on the excess levy survey process to members of the board.
Other agenda items to be considered include:
- Approval of tuition payments for grant participants.
- Approval of work-based learning sites.
- A resolution to waiver the attendance policy due to absences that are likely to occur from influenza.
- A resolution to support a West Virginia Broadband fiber project.
- Approval of Title I volunteers, chaperones and volunteer coaches as well as several other personnel items.
- Budget transfers and supplements.
