The Region VII Planning and Development Council will host its annual holiday dinner meeting Dec. 8 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Buckhannon.

The dinner will be catered by Dale Hawkins, who will present a menu based on West Virginia-produced foods. A reception will be at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will follow dinner.

The following items are on the agenda:

- Special updates: U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Economic Development Administration, West Virginia Development Office, West Virginia Wesleyan College SIFE team, New Appalachian Farm and Research Center and Extreme Endeavors.

- Previous meeting minutes

- Treasurer's report and financial statements

- Director's report: End of year report, Energy Efficiency Program, Small Cities Block Grant update, funding statements

- Old business: Progress report on funded projects

- New business: By-law amendments, project reviews, regional projects and state review letters

- Recommendations for future meeting agenda items.
