The Presbyterian Women of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church presented Ginny Simmons and Anita Jones each with $2,000 from the Duddy Bertolini Educational Scholarship Fund at the group's annual fall gathering.

Simmons is a junior at Davis & Elkins College and is majoring in market management and hospitality. Jones is a junior at Davis & Elkins College and is majoring in communications.

The Scholarship Fund was established by Roger Bertolini in memory of his wife, Duddy. Judy Guye, scholarship chairwoman, presented the awards.

Also receiving scholarships from the Presbyterian Women of Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church were Sheila Healy, a second-year nursing student at D&E, and Daniel Kwafo, a senior at D&E, majoring in business and economics.
