Senators roll past BSC; Bobcats fall

Davis & Elkins placed three players in double figures en route to a 95-62 win over Bluefield State Tuesday night in West Virginia Conference action at the McDonnell Center.

Reggie Cook fired in a game-high 24 points to lead the attack for the Senators (2-1, 2-0 WVIAC). Danny Manuel and Tim Turner both followed with 18 points for Davis & Elkins, who led 49-35 at intermission.

Jerome Jack added nine points and seven rebounds for the Senators, while P.J. Turner had eight points and dished out 16 assists.

Raylon Almon scored 16 points for Bluefield State (0-4, 0-2). Sean Weatherspoon followed with 14.

Davis & Elkins will travel to West Virginia State on Saturday for another conference contest.

Charleston 85, Wesleyan 58

BUCKHANNON - Ronald Kinney scored 23 points to lead Charleston past Wesleyan 85-58 Tuesday in West Virginia Conference play.

John White and Ibrahim Marone added 11 points each for the Golden Eagles (4-1, 3-0 WVIAC), who led 33-31 at the break.

White also pulled down 14 rebounds for the Charleston.

Justin Caldwell finished with a game-high 27 points to lead the Bobcats (0-4, 0-2 WVIAC). Neven Zeravica added a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Caleb Ashley followed with six points, while Jeff White dished out six assists for the Bobcats.

Wesleyan will travel to Concord on Saturday.

A-B 86, Concord 67

PHILIPPI?- Mark Summerfield scored 24 points to lead Alderson-Broaddus to a 86-67 win over Concord Tuesday night in West Virginia Conference action.

Jamar Board followed with 19 points for the Battlers (1-2, 1-0?WVIAC), while Terrell Eargle finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Battlers led 39-26 at intermission.

Cory Willard had 25 points to lead Concord (1-4, 1-1).

Alderson-Broaddus will host the Jack Funk Classic Tournament beginning on Dec. 12.
