The breakfast menu for Upshur County Schools next week includes the following:
Monday: Assorted juice, chicken biscuit, assorted cereal and milk.
Tuesday: Orange wedges, oatmeal, wheat toast, yogurt and milk.
Wednesday: Assorted juice, whole wheat breakfast bagel, assorted cereal and milk.
Dec. 10: Assorted juice, whole grain pancakes with syrup, assorted cereal and milk.
Dec. 11: Assorted juice, English muffin pizza, assorted cereal and milk.
The lunch menu for elementary schools is as follows:
Monday: Pizza, mixed vegetables, fresh fruit/vegetable bar and milk.
Tuesday: Chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable sticks, sliced peaches, wheat bread and milk.
Wednesday: Chili with beans and crackers, fresh fruit/vegetable bar, cornbread and milk.
Dec. 10: Chicken nuggets, baked French fries, fresh fruit/vegetable bar, wheat bread and milk.
Dec. 11: Hamburger on multigrain bun, oven potato wedges, fresh fruit/vegetable bar and milk.
The lunch menu at Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School and Buckhannon-Upshur High School includes Option I: salad bar and milk or the Option II menu as follows:
Monday: Stromboli, mixed vegetables, tossed salad, assorted fresh fruit and milk.
Tuesday: Chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable sticks, sliced peaches, wheat bread and milk.
Wednesday: Chili with beans and crackers, coleslaw, assorted fresh fruit, cornbread and milk.
Dec. 10: Chicken nuggets, baked French fries, California blend vegetables, assorted fresh fruit, wheat bread and milk.
Dec. 11: Hamburger on multigrain bun with lettuce and tomato, baked potato wedges, pasta salad, assorted fresh fruit and milk.
