James B. Arbogast
James "Jim" Brent Arbogast, 66, of Beverly, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at home surrounded by family.
He was born Sunday, Jan. 10, 1943, at Coalton, a son of the late Jewell Oakland Arbogast and Mildred J. Roberts Arbogast Bennett, who survives in Beverly.
He attended the schools of Randolph County. He was employed as a general laborer with the construction trade. Jim was a very talented artist and wood carver who made many beautiful carvings for his family and friends.
He enjoyed working in his flower garden. He especially loved lillies.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one half brother, Jonathan Arbogast.
Jim will be sadly missed by his daughter: Mildred Marie "Micky" Williams and husband, Stanley "Stan" Williams, of Erie, Pa.; mother, Mildred Arbogast Bennett; two sisters, Gloria Warner and husband, Steven, and Donna Allan and husband, Randolph "Randy," all of Beverly; half brother, Joseph Arbogast and wife, Linda, of Buckhannon; three aunts, Bonnie Knicely and husband, Larry, of Elkins, Enid Goodwin of Howard, Pa., and Gail Bennett of Buckhannon; one uncle, Donald L. Roberts of Geneva, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 100 Meadow Lane in Valley Bend. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Albert H. Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
