Anthony Pizzoferrato

Anthony "Tony" Pizzoferrato died Dec. 24, 2009, in Chesterwood Village in West Chester, Ohio.

He was born Dec. 1, 1927, at Norton, the son of the late Nicola and Rosa Polce Pizzoferrato.

Tony was the beloved husband of the late Ruby Marie Jordan Pizzoferrato of Elkins devoted father of Nicholas (Mary Lou) Ferrato of Mason, Ohio; loving grandfather of Angela Rose Ferrato: dear brother of Elaine P. Ware and Mary Butch of Elkins and Oreste "Bud" Pizzoferrato of Crystal Springs.

Tony was also preceded in death by brothers, Leeber Louis, Coste and Julio "Peets" Pizzoferrato; and his sisters, Frances DiMario and Rita Pizzoferrato.

Tony was a retired program manager for GE Aircraft Engines in Cincinnati, and proudly served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Services will be at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Drive in Loveland, Ohio, Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio.
