Robert and Judith Phares celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 29 with family and friends.
They were married Dec. 29, 1959, at McDowell, Va.
Mrs. Phares is the daughter of the late Herbert Pritt and Thelma Long Pritt Stokes.
