Tessa Marie Yokum and Clifton Bradley Ware were married Sept. 26 in a ceremony at the Dryfork Assembly of God. The wedding was officiated by Pastor Ric Lewellen.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Rick and Phyllis Yokum of Alpena. She is the granddaughter of Ted Yokum of Harman and Brenda Yokum of Alpena. She is the great-granddaughter of Troy and Nora Yokum of Harman and Betty Vance of Whitmer.

The bridegroom is the son of Donald and Ruby Ware of Belington and Dottie Warner of Philippi. He is the grandson of Loverine Ware of Belington and Audrey Summerfield of Beverly.

The wedding was decorated in fall colors of burnt orange, viking yellow and deep red.

The bride carried a bouquet of white mini callas, white roses, pumpkin mini callas, seeded eucalyptus and hypericum berries. She wore a white strapless satin A-line gown with beaded embroidered metallic bodice and a cathedral train. Her veil was hand-made my her mother, Phyllis.

Serving the bride as the maid of honor was her sister, Ashley Yokum. Bridesmaids were Autumn Bonner, lifelong friend of the bride, Gina Wolfe, sister of the bridegroom, and Amanda Ogden, friend of the bride. Haley Teter, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. They wore floor-length gowns is the fall color of cognac.

The flower girls were McKenzie Smith and Karlee Smith, cousins of the bride, and Brooklyn Watson, niece of the bridegroom.

Jason Wolfe, friend and brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin McAtee and Johnnie Ogden, friends of the bridegroom, and Tyler Cooper, cousin of the bride. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with spice colored vests and ties and pumpkin colored mini calla boutonnieres.

Melissa Lewellen was ceremony vocalist. Photographers were Sandy Hedrick of Seneca Rocks and Natasha Jones of Belington, both friends of the family. Flowers for the wedding party were provided by Tammy's Floral and Bridal Gallery. Table centerpieces and decorations at the reception were hand-made by Mitzy Teter. The four-tier, square wedding cake was made by Suzanne Carter. The dinner-dance reception was at Bear Paw Lodge at Canaan Valley Resort.

The bride graduated from Harman High School. She attended Davis & Elkins College and received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and human services in May. She is employed at David H. Wilmoth Law Office.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Philip Barbour High School and is employed by Elkins Fordland.

After a honeymoon to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, the couple now resides in Alpena.
