Larry and Ada Williams of Beverly celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. Family and friends hosted a golden celebration on June 27 at the Tygart Valley Baptist church, where they are members.
The Williams have a daughter, Genevieve Vandevander, who lives with her husband, Joseph, in Morgantown. They also have two grandchildren, Andrew, 16, and Samantha, 14.
The couple spent much of there 50 years together devoting themselves to helping children as foster parents. Though they have one biological daughter, they have many people who call them mom and dad.
