Caroline Whitacre and Robert Cain Jr., along with their parents, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of James Whitacre and Christine Vanpet of Beverly. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harris.
Her fiance is the son of Robert Cain of Highland Park, Elkins. He is the grandson of Frank and Mattie Pennington of Harman. He is employed by The Inter-Mountain.
