Albright resident is MSFF princess

Rebekah Dean Kuhn of Albright has been appointed princess for the 74th Mountain State Forest Festival by state Sen. Dave Sypolt. She is the daughter of Darla Dean Kuhn of Albright and granddaughter of Darwin and Linda Titchenell of Albright. She has one sister, Renae.

Kuhn is a 2009 graduate of Preston High School where she was senior class president, a member of FBLA, student government, marching band, swim team and homecoming court. She is currently employed at University Health Associates in Morgantown as a student information imaging assistant and is also a part-time employee at North Preston Kwik Stop. She is a member of the Valley Point Supports Troops Rally and Albright Baptist Church. She is a certified lifeguard and a Red Cross Blood Drive volunteer. She also volunteers for the Buckwheat Festival and serves breakfast monthly at Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department. She was honored to be Preston County Buckwheat Festival senior princess and Bruceton Mills Good Neighbor Day maid of honor.

She has earned certification in Microsoft Office and currently attends West Virginia University where she plans to graduate with a master's degree in elementary education with a specialization in Math 5-9. She has earned the Bruceton Alumni Scholarship, American Red Cross Scholarship and Mary Agnes Borgman Scholarship. She is a member of the Mountaineer Maniacs.
