Beatlemania takes over PCOH

October 20, 2010
The Inter-Mountain

This Saturday, come to the Pocahontas County Opera House to experience a show that will transport you back in time with Beatles tribute band, Hard Day's Night. Take an exciting and nostalgic trip back to when life was a bit less complicated - a time that saw four lads from Liverpool create both a musical and social revolution that affected our lives then and the way we listen to music today.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $7 at the door. Children 12 and younger are admitted free of charge.

There will never be another Beatles.

Hard Day's Night, the band, respects this. In fact, the band holds the Beatles legend in the highest regard while performing their live shows.

But just for two hours, imagine it is February 1964. "Beatlemania" is taking the world by storm, and The Beatles decided to make Marlinton a stop on their world tour.

Hard Day's Nigh strongly encourages you to clap, sing along and do whatever moves you.

This show is one you will not soon forget.

This performance is part of the 2010-2011 Performance Series sponsored by the Pocahontas County Opera House Foundation with financial assistance through a grant from the West Virginia Division of Culture and History and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts. Financial support is also provided by Pocahontas County Drama, Fairs and Festivals.

The Pocahontas County Opera House is located at 818 Third Ave. in Marlinton.
