D&E, Wesleyan cagers both tumble

VIENNA - Kendall Allison scored 26 points and collected nine rebounds to lead Ohio Valley University to a 87-75 win over Davis & Elkins in WVIAC action Saturday night.

P.J. Turner led the Senators with 20 points, while Tim Turner added 19 points and Reggie Cook 18.

D&E (1-4, 1-4 WVC) travel to Salem International on Wednesday.

West Virginia State 88, Wesleyan 74

INSTITUTE?- Wesleyan dropped an 88-74 decision to West Virginia State Saturday in WVC action.

Neven Zeravica led the Bobcats (2-2, 2-2 WVC) with 15 points, while Reggie Chambers added 13. Bejay Corley and Marquis Weddle each scored 12 and Colby Wohlleb 10.

Wesleyan hosts NCAA Divison II powerhouse Indiana (Pa.) on Tuesday.

Women's Games

OVC 86, D&E 70

VIENNA - Shelby Way scored 17 points to lead Ohio Valley University to a 86-70 win over Davis & Elkins Saturday in WVIAC action.

Amy Turner scored 19 points to lead the Lady Senators. Shalisa Hill added 16 points and five assists.

D&E falls to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the WVIAC. The Lady Senators will travel to Edinboro University today.

West Virginia State 68

INSTITUTE - Lydia Bridenbaugh fired in 27 points and Daria Obros'kina added 20 to lead Wesleyan past West Virginia State 75-68 on Saturday.

The Lady Bobcats (5-0, 4-0 WVC) will travel to Shippensburg (Pa.) on Wednesday.
