HAS?STUDENTS?DRESS?UP — Highland Adventist School recently hosted a historical costume party. Students each selected a historical character to research and then wore a costume representing that character. During school assembly, each student modeled his costume and the other students guessed who the historical character was and learned details of the character’s life. “Our students were very creative with this event,” said Cheryl Jacko, principal. “We had Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, Amelia Earhart, Florence Nightingale, Lucille Ball, Robin Hood, Abraham Lincoln and many other famous people ‘visiting’ in our school on costume day. This was a great way to learn more about some important characters from history.” Highland Adventist School provides innovative, quality curriculum for students in grades K-12.
