HAS Students adopt Angel Tree children — Each of the classrooms at Highland Adventist School in Elkins adopted an Angel Tree child as its Christmas service project this year. Students enjoyed shopping for their “adopted” children and boxes of gifts arrived at the school. The students wrapped and labeled the gifts in time for delivery to the Kmart Angel Tree drop-off location. Seven Angel Tree children in all were given gifts by the students. Service to the community is part of the basic philosophy at Highland Adventist School, which offers a Christian education for students in grades K-12.
