Mr. Ronnie Lynn Rhea, 53, a resident of Elkins, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011.
He was born July 29, 1957, at Marlinton, a son of the late Frank Herbert Rhea and the late Mary Oletta Rhea.
He was formerly married to Carolyn Lindsay.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Rhea and companion, Benjamin Arbogast, of Montrose; one stepson, Christopher Lindsay and wife, Vickie, of Elkins; two sisters, Sherlene Rhea and Thelma Moore and husband, Virgil, all of Valley Head; three nieces, Susie Arbogast and husband, Randy, Angie Arbogast and husband, Gary, and Kim Bodkins and husband, Ronald, all of Valley Head; three great-nieces, Stacey Ware, Kara Arbogast and Kelsey Arbogast ; three great-nephews, Tyler Arbogast, Timmy Daniels and Derrick Bodkins; one great-great-niece; one step-grandson, Braxton Lindsay; and one step-granddaughter, Sarah Lindsay.
Also preceding him in death was one brother.
Ronnie was a mechanic prior to becoming disabled and was a member of the Valley Head Volunteer Fire Department.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. A.H. Belt officiating. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery. Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Ronnie Lynn Rhea.
