Combs, Weese receive Pilgrim’s honors

Pilgrim's Pride's Moorefield transportation department has selected Donald Combs as its "Driver of the Month" for September and Israel Weese for October.

Combs works in the Moorefield hatchery department and has been employed with the company since April 4, 2008.

Carl Thompson, Combs' supervisor, said, "Donald is an outstanding driver and always has a wonderful outlook. He is willing to go the extra mile and does any job I ask of him. Donald performs his duties and completes his paperwork correctly. He has not had an accident or violation and his vehicle inspections are always complete and accurate. He is very safety conscious at all times."

Weese works in the Moorefield live haul department and has been employed with the company since June 23, 2003.

Tim Cullers, Weese's supervisor, said, "Israel has great attendance and will help in other departments if necessary. He has a great attitude and job performance. Israel does an excellent job maintaining his equipment, keeps his paperwork completed properly and has not had an accident or violation. He keeps his vehicle inspections up to date and is also very safety conscious."
