Dr. Harry R. Faulk, executive vice president and chief academic officer at New River Community and Technical College, has announced that 261 students earned dean's list honors for the fall semester.
To be named to the dean's list, students must earn a 3.25 or higher average grade point average and carry 12 or more college hours, not including developmental classes. Students may not receive any Ds or Fs in any class for the semester.
Those earning this distinction for the spring semester are: Heather Thompson of Hillsboro, Melissa Ames of Marlinton and Scarlett Matheny of Marlinton.
