Timberline Four Seasons Resort will welcome guitarist and vocalist Durty Harry for a performance Friday at 4 p.m. in the ski lodge.
Harry performs a wide variety of musical styles most popular in West Virginia. The state is known for its wide diversity of music, and for the talent which has risen to national prominence including Grammy winner Kathy Matea, hall-of-famers Hawkshaw Hawkins and Little Jimmie Dickens, and Roy Scott, Brad Paisley and Stony Cooper.
Harry, originally from Huntington, now works in Falls Church, Virginia. He had a long-standing reputation when he served as a journalist in the Huntington area.
Harry's performance will span honky tonk, bluegrass, blues, classic rock, folk, mountain and Dixieland. The performance is open to the public without charge and is part of an ongoing series of musical events sponsored by the resort in recognition of the vast heritage of musical variety of the state of West Virginia.
