Back by popular demand, Master Illusionist Jason Bishop is returning to northcentral West Virginia's Stonewall Resort on Feb. 26 for an evening filled with magic, mysticism and family entertainment.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children, as Bishop's show - a blend of humor and magic - features award-winning sleight-of-hand and exclusive grand illusions.
"This is a great opportunity for the whole family to take in a spectacular show," said Steve Ludwig, director of sales and marketing at Stonewall Resort. "Jason Bishop is a real crowd pleaser."
Event activities begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday with a reception in the resort's Grand Hall.
Guests will then move to dinner where they will be left spellbound by the evening dinner menu, created by the resort's executive chef, Paco Aceves.
The menu includes a cider bleus salad, composed of bleu cheese crumbles, spiced pears, toasted pecans, mixed greens and endive lettuce with a cider vinaigrette; braised beef roulade with roasted sweet potato mash and grilled asparagus; and grilled salmon with herb mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and grilled asparagus. For dessert, guests will enjoy Appalachian cheesecake, complete with blackberry jam, almond whipped cream and a chocolate garnish.
The event package includes overnight accommodations, reception, plated dinner for two and the Night of Illusions show.
The package cost is $259 per couple. Children 16 and younger can attend with their parents for $40 per child (which includes dinner).
For those who want to enjoy the evening activities but don't plan on staying at the resort overnight, the cost is $75 per person for individuals ages 17 and older.
