How to avoid being lonely

Although Valentine's Day is considered a time of love and togetherness, for quite a few folks it is also a time of loneliness. Those without someone special in their life often find themselves full of great trepidation toward the upcoming holiday. Also, there are many who are spending "hearts day" alone for the first time after the death of someone close or a divorce. The loss of a loved one or a relationship break-up can intensify the feeling of loneliness during the proverbial cupid day. Also, it is very possible to feel lonely in a crowd.
