The Elkins Police Department, West Virginia State Police and U.S. Marshals are investigating a hostage situation on Central Street in Elkins.
At least one person, a male, was taken out of the home and transported by ambulance.
Police placed barricades at Central Street and Glendale Avenue and Central Street and Worth Avenue.
