Neal J. and Dorothy "Dottie" Simmons of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on April 24.
They were married on April 24, 1946, by the Rev. W.W. Ware at the First Methodist Church in Elkins.
They are the parents of Terry Lee Simmons of King, North Carolina, and Donna Grace McElhiney of Athens, Alabama. They also have four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
