James and Patsy Sacks of Elkins will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 19.
They were married at Frank Nazerene Church by James Aldrige.
Mr. Sacks is the son of the late Philmore and Ethel Sacks. He is employed by the Division of Highways.

Mrs. Sacks is the daughter of the late Forrest and Grace Burner. She retired after 32 years with the Randolph County Board of Education.
They have two sons, Kevin of Dailey and Bradley of Mill Creek, and one grandson, Justin of Glady.
