BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport found the back of the net for a score late in the second half to shutout Elkins 1-0 Monday night in Big 10 Conference action.

The Indians' Pat Kelly scored the lone goal of the game with 13 minutes left in regulation.

Bridgeport (10-1) held a 7-2 advantage in shots on goal and held a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.

Cam Viney had six saves in net for the Tigers (5-9-1).

"This was best team effort we had all season," Elkins coach Andy Montgomery said. "Each player made a contribution and we worked together. We have nothing to hang our heads about and this bodes well for an exciting last couple of weeks."

Elkins will return to action tonight at 8 p.m. when it entertains Liberty for a Big 10 Conference matchup.
