Association of Computing Machinery honors A-B professor

Gary Schubert, MS, MFA, and associate professor of computer science and art at Alderson-Broaddus College, has been honored and awarded senior membership status in the Association for Computing Machinery as of June 1.

The Senior Member Award recognizes those ACM members with at least 10 years of professional experience and five years of continuous professional membership who have demonstrated performance that sets them apart from their peers.

Schubert is one of 104 Senior Member Award/Honor recipients for 2011 from the ACM Membership worldwide.

ACM is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession.
