Courtney Brooke Howell and Alexander Montgomery Riffle of Elkins announce the birth of a son, born at 3:50 p.m. Aug. 24, 2011, in Davis Memorial Hospital. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and has been named Elliott Montgomery Riffle. Maternal grandparents are Michelle and Donald Howell. Paternal grandparents are Bruce and Donna Riffle. Great-grandparents are Betty Hornick, Dale Ray, stepgreat-grandfather, Clarence Hornick; Paul Smith and Karen Arbogast.
