Patience Dadisman and Garrett Workman of Elkins announce the birth of a daughter, born Oct. 1, 2011, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital of Weston. The infant weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces, measured 17 1/4 inches and has been named Payton Ann Workman. Grandparents are Becky A. and Robert Bohon of Elkins, Chris and Steve Mallow of Bowden and Wayne Workman of Elkins.
