CLARKSBURG - A Weston man was sentenced to prison this week in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II said Adam Edwards was sentenced to 33 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. Edwards pleaded guilty on Sept. 19 to attempting to transfer obscenity to a minor in Bridgeport on Nov. 22.
Edwards was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending designation to a federal institution.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Perri and was investigated by the Bridgeport Police Department.
