Lewis County Commission members passed a resolution Monday declaring Jan. 19 as West Virginia Physical Fitness Day.
The commissioners also announced that bid openings for the $6 million courthouse annex project will be opened Jan. 25. The county's Planning Commission has secured a 3.75-percent, 20-year-loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development agency.
The annex is expected to house the county's judicial agencies, such as magistrate and circuit court and their supporting offices.
