The stresses of modern society are slowly eroding the foundations of American family life. In an effort to stop the decline, Buckhannon Alliance Church is offering a biblical blueprint for rebuilding families.
During seven informal meetings beginning this month, several subjects will be covered by trusted teachers and noted authors offering vital insights into marriage, spiritual renewal, mentoring strategies and more.
Few things are more important than one's relationship with family. It is the building block of churches, communities, healthy schools and the nation. When family is neglected, the foundation of community crumbles and homes begin to splinter. Whether single or married, with children or not, members of the community have a part of building strong families.
These seven short sessions are for everyone.
Weekly studies will be conducted from 7 to 8 p.m., beginning Jan. 20. Topics will include strong families, manhood/womanhood issues, marriage, being a husband, raising sons and daughters and leadership.
Childcare will be provided for newborns through age 5 in the nursery, and ages 6 to 12 in the gym.
Participants will receive a free book by Dennis Rainey.
