No these are not Santa’s elves working at the North Pole. This is the fifth-grade Switchers Club at Hodgesville Elementary, which meets after school. Twenty-one of the 27 fifth-graders chose to learn how to sew some Christmas gifts. Tucker Curtis and Michael Fultineer are working at this sewing machine together on their projects. This is the fourth year for this activity in fifth grade at Hodgesville Elementary. The Elkins Sewing Club recently donated four sewing machines, so students have a total of eight machines to use.
