Kathleen Michale Burda and Raymond Kenney LaMora III were married on July 1, 2011, at Saint Brendan Catholic Church in Elkins with the ceremony officiated by the Very Rev. Father Donald X. Higgs.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Shellie Burda of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Ralph and Barbara Bennett of Elkins and Dot Burda of Chester and the late John Burda.
The bridegroom is the son of Ray and Sue LaMora of Elkins. He is the grandson of Ray and Margaret LaMora of Cohoes, N.Y., and Fredrick Beekman of Rio Rancho, N.M., and the late Mary Margaret Beekman.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an ivory satin strapless gown with pearl and crystal embellishments. She carried a bouquet of deep purple calla lilies.
Maid of honor was Katie Smith of Clarksburg, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Jamie Cokeley of Pennsboro, Hollie Burdette of Whitesville, Stacey Evans of Commack, N.Y., and Jennifer Morgan, sister of the bridegroom, of Elkins. Lily Burda, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl.
Best man was Craig Moravy of New Market, Md., best friend of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were friends of the bridegroom, Brett Covert of Fairfax Station, Va., Russ Shepherd of Elkins, Kevin Ku of Florham Park, N.J., and Scott Green of Pittsburgh, Pa., Tyler Burda, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Kristen Antolini of Morgantown served as pianist and vocalist. The cellist was Mary Ellen Morrison of Morgantown. Katie McArthur and Katie Cunningham, friends of the bride, served as readers for the ceremony. Bill and Melanie Dempsey served as photographers.
A dinner and dance reception was hosted after the ceremony at Halliehurst on the campus of Davis & Elkins College. The three-tier wedding cake was created by Suzanne Carter. Music was provided by James Leard.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree. She is employed as a pharmacist with Kroger.
The bridegroom graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with degrees in political science, history and a masters in business administration. He graduated in 2008 from the West Virginia University College of Law and practices with the Law Office of Raymond K. LaMora III, PLLC in Elkins.
After a honeymoon in Paris, Tours and Bordeaux, France, the couple resides in Elkins.
