SHINNSTON?- Emily Knight scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Lincoln captured the Class AA, Region II, Section 2 championship with a 45-34 win over Philip Barbour Friday night.
Despite the loss, the Lady Colts (14-10) remain alive in postseason play and will travel to Frankfort for regional play on Thursday.
Presley Parsons added nine points for the Lady Cougars, while Hayley Haning finished with eight points and five rebounds.
Lauren Rogers led Philip Barbour with nine points and 13 rebounds.
Nikki Shriver and Lindsay Riley added seven points each for the Lady Colts.

Tucker County 60,
HAMBLETON - Ian Nichols had 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Tucker County past Preston 60-51 Friday night in non-conference action.
Tyler Snyder followed with 15 points and eight assists, while Nathaniel Goldstein had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Mountain Lions (15-6).
Mitchell Koch had 19 points, while Matthew Herndon followed with 15 for the Knights, who led 28-21 at the half.
Tucker County outscored Preston 27-13 in the third quarter to build a 48-41 lead after three quarters of play.
"I thought we shot the ball really well in the third quarter," Tucker County coach Tom Gutshall said. "It was a great team win for us."
Tucker County will host either Harman or WVSD on Tuesday for sectional tournament action starting at 7 p.m.
DUNMORE - Adam Snyder had 17 points to lead Moorefield past Pocahontas County 60-55 Friday night in PVC action.
Jared Kite followed with 12 points for the Yellow Jackets (17-5).
Jed Sheets fired in 28 points, while Steve Halterman added 12 points for the Warriors (11-10).
Pocahontas County will host Valley-Fayette Tuesday in opening round tournament action.
Moorefield also begins sectional play this week.
Pendleton County 80, Union 35
FRANKLIN - Corey Simmons scored 25 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead Pendleton County past Union 80-35 Friday in Potomac Valley Conference action.
Logan Raines followed with 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Wildcats (6-15), who led 45-19 at halftime and 67-25 after three quarters.
Jacob Nelson had 12 points for Union.
Pendleton County travels to Union Tuesday.
