The Elkins High Vocal Ensemble will travel to Nashville March 23 to 25.
The choir will visit the Grand Ole Opry show and Museum, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Hermitage plantation, which was the home of Andrew Jackson. The students also will participate in traditional line dancing.
The trip will conclude with a public performance at Wildhorse. The students will sing: "He Never failed Me Yet" by Robert Ray, "Riversong" by Roger Emerson, the spiritual "Elijah and Joshua" by Sally Albrecht, "Like the Beat of the Drum" and "African Allelulia," which will use a variation of African drums.
