The Davis & Elkins College Hospitality Services team has a full-service staff that can help with both on- and off-campus events.
The staff includes Cynthia Nucilli, conference and convention manager; Cristin Terry, catering services coordinator; and Graceland innkeeper Clark Evans, under the leadership of General Manager and Executive Chef Melanie Campbell.
Nucilli matches people and events to the best sites on campus. She is the first person to contact for scheduling a facility at D&E, and can help individuals and groups identify the right resources for their needs.

"I work closely with many different community and state agencies in the planning of workshops and group meetings," she said. "Some events are geared toward groups of 75 to 100 participants, while other meetings are set up for small groups of 10 or less. One of my most rewarding tasks is assisting with the planning for brides and grooms in preparation for their special and unique wedding day. Our hospitality services arrangements include birthday parties, showers, special dinners and luncheons held in our unique historic settings and more modern conference rooms."
Nucilli has more than 25 years of managerial experience that has prepared her for the wide-ranging responsibilities of her current position. She served as executive director of United Way of Randolph County, coordinating daily operations that support the 28 Randolph County agencies under the United Way umbrella. Previously, at Davis Health System, she was director of public/provider relations; the director of Davis HomePlus, where she planned and supervised the remodeling of the facility which houses the full-line Durable Medical Equipment store; director of Network Development for Physicians Professional Services; and site manager for United Physicians Care in Buckhannon.
Terry also brings a wealth of experience to her position, having held management and hospitality services jobs from New York to Key West. Previously, as the catering director for Aladdin Food Management Services LLC at West Virginia Wesleyan College, Terry was responsible for the planning, management and execution of events for up to 500 people.
As D&E's catering coordinator, Terry is responsible for menu planning and full-service catering.
"I have the privilege of working directly with our experienced culinary team to develop individualized menus for all occasions," she said. "We can prepare everything from Danishes and deli-style lunches to five-course gourmet meals. ... We strive to create a menu and overall dining experience that is memorable and unique to each group or occasion."
With one of the area's most unique and elegant properties under his management, Evans ensures that Graceland rolls out the red carpet for guests at Graceland Inn. He has charge of front desk operations, as well as financial and employee management.
"As innkeeper, I manage the day to day operations of the inn, working toward the long-term goals of constantly improving the overall guest experience," Evans said. "From upkeep to upgrades, it is a constantly growing project."
Evans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Davis & Elkins College in 2005, graduating magna cum laude. He was also the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award and the National Alumni Council Scholarship.
Prior to his current position, Evans was employed as district sales manager and single copy manager at The Inter-Mountain newspaper. Earlier experience includes working in his family's business, Evans TV, Appliance, and Furniture Store and Foxy Music.
