The annual Randolph/Tucker County Master Gardener Spring Workshop is scheduled for March 31.
Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Robert C. Byrd Conference Center.
Ben McKean will present the introduction from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. He is an active member of the Highland Apicultural Association, and he will teach the first class on honeybees and will offer a variety of honeybee products for sale.
The herbal luncheon and seed exchange will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Graceland. Participants are asked to bring seeds to exchange.
The workshop with John Merrill will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Merrill, an Elkins resident and avid gardener, will present innovative techniques to increase garden production. His specialties include adaptive gardening, strategies from growing vertically, broadcast planting, experimental gardening and more.
