Virgie Edith Moore Schoonover will celebrate her 88th birthday with a party from 2 to 4 pm. April 7 in the Hart Chapel Church Fellowship Hall.
Mrs. Schoonover was born April 2, 1924, the daughter of Charles Franklin and Sally Ann Pritt Moore.
On May 27, 1941, she married Junior Schoonover. They have two children, Charlie and wife, Ruthie, and Wanda and husband, Nelson Finlen. She has three grandchildren, Kimberly of Ohio, Todd of Elkins and Sara of Martinsburg. One granddaughter, Lisa, is deceased. She also has three great-grandchildren, Trevor, Oliver Neil and Jack Gray.
