WEST?UNION?- The Tygarts Valley High School baseball team swept a pair of games from Doddridge County Thursday in non-conference action.
Tygarts Valley won the first game 15-4 and took the nightcap, 16-4. Both games lasted just five innings.
J.D. Brown had four hits and drove in two runs, while Mark Parrack also had four hits to lead Tygarts Valley at the plate.
Timmy Sparks had two hits and two RBIs for TVHS.
Owen Arbogast notched the win for Tygarts Valley in a complete-game effort. Tyler Louk had two hits and drove in three runs, while Arobgast had two hits and two RBIs for Tygarts Valley in Game 2.
Brown had two hits, while Brandon Pritt had a two-run home run.
Ryan Hoffman notched the win for TVHS in three innings of work.
Tygarts Valley will travel to Pocahontas County on Monday.
